Play date

Today, my friend Lachlan came over to play with me in my new pool. We had loads of fun!


I like kicking back drinking my juice on the built in seat.


Even Aunt Kati got in the pool with me and Lachlan.


Lachlan liked jumping around in the pool!


But his favorite was the palm tree with its cool water mist.

Uncle John's new chair

Uncle John got a new chair. It's called a recliner, and he likes it a lot! I do, too, even though it is a bit high so I need help to climb up into it.

I like to sit in it...


...and I like to kick back and relax in it...


...and I like to lie down in it...


...and I even like to stand up in it!

Pool time!

Aunt Kati got me a new pool to replace the one that got broken when there was a wind storm here on the island.


I was pretty excited about the big box when it got here...


...so I helped open it. And then I got REALLY excited!

My pool is lots of fun, and I especially LOVE the slide part!


It was a hot afternoon when we played in the pool, so I had some cold juice to drink, too.


Aunt Kati helped me learn how to go down the slide.


In this picture, I am signing "more", because I wanted to go on the slide again! You can also see my juice bottle in the background - in the cup holder. Yes, my pool is fancy and even has cup holders! It also has a seat, and the palm tree part sprays a cool mist of water, which I loved, too.

I like to ride my tricycle, I like to ride my trike...

Aunt Kati got me a seatbelt for my tricycle, since I am still just a smidge too short to get my feet on the pedals and thereby hold myself on it. Now that I can be strapped in, I can take it on the road!


Luckily, my house is on a quiet street.


I had a little help from Uncle John with going down the street.


We even went off-roading!

Sweet Sixteen

Months, that is. I'm 16 months old today! Here I am with Squeakers, as usual.


How's that for a BIG smile?

Now, when I stand up, I'm taller than Squeaks!


As you already know, this is one of my favorite things to do recently...I'm a showoff about my flexibility!

Beach baby

I love the beach! I like to run around chasing the birds, even though Aunt Kati keeps telling me I'm not going to catch one. I also like to play at the edge of the water...


...and I like to feel the sand between my toes...


...and I LOVE to eat watermelon...


...and I like just sitting and relaxing...


...and looking at the ocean.

Feeding myself...with a fork!

I have completely mastered feeding myself with my hands, so now that's old hat. Now, I'm working on eating with a fork, and I am pretty darn good at it. I can almost always get food into my mouth if Aunt Kati or Uncle John puts it on the fork for me, and I'm learning to "spear" things with my fork myself, too. I also can drink out of cups without handles now. Check it out!
