My pianos

I have two pianos that I like to play. No, they are not baby grands or anything like that...they are baby pianos, of course! They are lots of fun. One plays music notes, and the other one plays music notes, animal sounds, and songs!

Here are some pictures of me playing the music notes one:

And as usual, I always like to try to figure out how things work, so here I am inspecting the piano very closely.

And here are some pictures of me playing the music/animal sounds/songs one:

I like the lights at the top of this one...they come on when I hit the keys.

Sometimes I get distracted by the flashes from Aunt Kati's camera, and then I just have to stop playing and look up at her.

I'm learning to...

...pick up very small things. Aunt Kati says this is a milestone which means I can start learning to feed myself. I'm not sure what picking up little things has to do with eating, but whatever!

Catching sweet dreams

I got a present and a note from my Grammy in the mail. She sent it all the way from Hawaii, and I know that is far away because I flew on airplanes from there with Mommy and Daddy in July, and it took a long time!

The note from Grammy said :

"Dear Connor ~ do babies dream? I don't know. But just in case, this should assure that all your dreams are sweet and happy."

And the present was a dream catcher, which is a Native American traditional item. The Native Americans put dream catchers on the cradle boards of babies, so they will have sweet dreams. Aunt Kati put mine on my crib.

Letter from Santa

I got a letter in the mail today. It was from Santa! Boy, was that fun!

See, here's the envelope, addressed to me.

I was excited about opening it!

Then I looked very closely at it.

Here it is! Aunt Kati says if you click on the picture, it should open in a new window so you can read it and see what a nice letter Santa sent me!

Pictures with Santa

Uncle John, Aunt Kati and I went to the Variety Store today, and Santa was there! I sat on his lap and got my picture taken with him. It was fun.

A new place to play

Today was my first day going to a new place. Aunt Kati says it's called "Ocracoke Child Care" and that they will take good care of me there in the mornings so she can work (then she will come get me and I will hang out with Uncle John in the afternoons). I don't know about all that, but I do know that it is a fun place to play with my new friends. There are lots of cool toys, and a colorful rug I like to sit on.

I love my teachers, Miss Marian and Miss Kristen, and they love me too!
