Better late than never

Aunt Kati started a blog a long time ago, way back in August, when I did something new. But she didn't have a picture to put on it, so she didn't post it...until today. We don't want you to miss it, though, since it is way down the list of blogs...so here's a link to it. Hope you like it!

Eating with a spoon

Well, I'm not quite actually eating, but I am chewing on my spoon! Aunt Kati gave it to me to get used to. She says I am going to start eating something called cereal (using a spoon) next week. I'll let you know how that goes!

Jumping

Well, sorta. Aunt Kati put me in this thing she calls a "jumper", but I haven't quite got the hang of it yet. She tells me I will have lots of fun with it when I figure it out, though, so I'll keep trying!

I got mail!

Yesterday, Aunt Kati went to the Post Office twice, and both times she came back with boxes for me! Am I lucky or what?

One of the boxes was from my Mommy. You can see she sent it straight to me:

One of the things inside the box was this book about colors. It has things to touch on each page - soft things, bumpy things, rough things...it is fun!



Mommy also sent me a cute blue and brown outfit, with a hooded jacket.



The second time Aunt Kati went to the Post Office, she came back with a BIG box. She said it was from eBay, but I don't know who that is. Anyway, it had a LOT of Baby Einstein toys in it. Here I am with just a few of them - Uncle John kept piling them on top of me in my swing! (Don't worry, they were all soft!)



The reason the box was so big is that this fun bouncy seat was in it. When I kick my feet, it plays music and lights up; I love to watch the lights!

Hangin' out

I was sitting with Squeakers the other day when Jakes came to sit with us. He is a sweet kitty. Sometimes he smells me, and I like to touch his soft fur.

Talkin' on the phone

Sometimes, when my Mommy calls (or Aunt Kati calls her) on the phone, I get to talk to her! Well, really mostly what I do is listen. But sometimes I giggle and make sounds, too. I love to listen to Mommy's voice on the phone, and I always get quiet and calm when I hear it.

Five months old today!

Today is my five month birthday, so Aunt Kati took my picture with Squeakers. Here I am, sitting up almost completely by myself! (I still have to lean on Squeakers for support after a while, though...)



After Aunt Kati took my picture, I decided to give Squeakers a kiss on the foot.





By the way, in case you are wondering, I now weigh 17 pounds 8 ounces, and I am 25 1/2 inches tall. I am a growing boy!
