Lots of water!
We are having a big storm here. It's called a Nor'Easter (this particular one is called "Ida"), and it has been here for a few days. Today, the water from the Sound got really high and came into the Village, and even into our driveway and yard! Luckily, Aunt Kati and I have these great boots so we put them on...

and that would be why the houses are built up so high! Wow...that looks like fun. I so wish I was there (even in my rubbah slippahs!). Enjoy!
OK.. this is a BIG storm. Hope everyone and everything is safe with no damage and it remains at the "fun" play in the water stage. I forget you just a tad above sea level - yikes.
