Party!

Today, I got to go to another Christmas party. It is so much fun this time of year! This party was at my school, Ocracoke Child Care.

Before the party, Mommy and Aunt Kati made presents for my teachers. They were jars of chocolate chips and crushed peppermint, which they could use to make Chocolate Peppermint Crunch. I helped Mommy to crush the peppermint, with a hammer!

Then, we went to the party. I sat on Mommy's lap for a while.

And then we sang a bunch of songs.

I got to play sticks for the song about the elves making toys.

And then I wore a halo for the song about being angels in the band. Aren't I cute?

Then, we got to have a snack. I let Mommy wear my halo for a while.

It was a great party!

Disney day 3

Here's another blog about my fun time at Disney! On our third day there, we went back to the Magic Kingdom. It was all decorated for Christmas!

We went on the Winnie the Pooh ride...

(that's Pooh's bedroom)...

and I rode a carousel horse...

and THEN, we found the most fun place in all of Disney World, in my opinion! It had water shooting up from the ground!

And a slide...

and a cute playhouse...

plus it was just fun to run around!

When it was time to leave there, I had a screaming fit, because I didn't want to go!

That night, back at the hotel, we went to see the Torch Lighting Ceremony. They gave me a lei!

(Yes, I'm in my bathing suit. We were going to go swimming, but then it started to rain.)

Here's the guy lighting one of the torches

Then he ate fire!

And then he did this cool dance, all while spinning the fire around!

It was another fun day!

Letter from Santa!

I got a letter today all the way from the North Pole! It was from Santa Claus. Cool, huh?

I stopped what I was doing (playing with my music book)...

...to open the letter...

...and read it.

Well, okay...I admit it. Aunt Kati read it to me.

Party time!

I went to a really fun party today! It was the Books to be Red Kids Christmas party, which Aunt Kati says I went to last year, too, but I'm not sure I remember that. Anyway, I had lots of fun!

First, I decorated a bag to put all my goodies in so I could take them home.

Then, I made reindeer food to sprinkle outside so the reindeer can find our house and will have something to munch on while Santa puts our presents under the tree.

Next, Aunt Kati and I made a paper chain. The paper had envelope glue on it, so I licked the ends so we could stick them together to make loops.

Then I dropped it into my bag!

I also got to decorate a t-shirt...

...and make a candy necklace...

...and decorate a candy cane (Aunt Kati helped me stick a bunch of fuzzy red balls on it)...

...and finally, I got to meet Santa Claus!

Disney day 2

Sorry for the long delay...here at long last are some pictures from our second day at Disney World!

We rode on the ferry boat to the Magic Kingdom, where we spent the morning...

...visiting Mickey's house!

Here I am looking in to Mickey's bedroom.

The house was all decorated for Christmas, including stockings for Mickey, Minnie and Pluto.

Even the checkers are shaped like Mickey!

This time I'm looking in to the kitchen.

Aunt Kati thought Mickey's shopping list was funny...everything on it is cheese!

After that, we saw a funny 3D show called Mickey's Philharmagic, and then rode on the Winnie the Pooh ride. Then we watched a parade. Mickey and Minnie were in it!

We left the Magic Kingdom and went to the Animal Kingdom for the afternoon.

This is the Christmas tree at Animal Kingdom - it was really cool, with animals all over it (of course!)

And there was another tree - the biggest one I have ever seen!

At the Animal Kingdom, we went on a safari!

We saw lots of animals...

After the safari, we had a delicious dinner. It was a really fun day!

Disney day 1

Hi everyone! This is the first in a series of blogs about my trip to Disney World. Stay tuned for more...

We didn't do much on the first day - just got checked in to our hotel and ate dinner.

Even the towels reminded us of Mickey!

Not much happening in this picture, but Aunt Kati says it's a cute one of my big blue eyes, so that's why we're posting it.

We had dinner at Ohana, and it was really delicious. They cook all the meat on this big fire right in the middle of the restaurant!

And after dinner, Uncle John and I posed with the big giant Polynesian head!
